So I got back today from Florida and the Orange Bowl.
It was an exhausting, frustrating, and bitchy experience, but it was totally amazing. Shane Sparks is the bomb, as is his assistant, Rachel K.
On the night that we had our semi-formal dinner a lot of people wanted to get group/individual pictures with Shane. My group held back until last and so we got to do a little chit-chatting with him. When it was my turn to get a picture, this is what happened:

Me- Thank you so much for the picture!
Shane- No problem, I'll see you at the party. [Meaning the dance that followed the dinner]
Me- You should come party with my group.
Shane- What?
Me- No, no, it's cool, we're in college.
Rachel K- How old are you?
Me- I'm 20 in 2 weeks.
Rachel K- That's perfect!
Shane- What room are you guys in?
Me- Ahh Uhhh... [And then I ran away. I might have also drooled on myself a little.]

I'd like to apologize once again to my dance girls for kind of dropping the ball on that one.

Oh, and on the night of the dress rehearsal it was something like 30 degrees out, so everyone had sweats/warmups on. Since they were taping it, we did one run-through with sweats on, and one without. We were told to put our things on the sidelines.
Now, after the run-through, rather than let us back on the field for 20 seconds to grab our things and go, they had about 20 girls go back and get everyone's things...Needless to say it ended in total chaos.

As for the actual halftime show-
Freakin' ZZ Top started playing too soon so we didn't get a chance to set up our first formation and missed almost the entire first verse. It was because the cheerleaders who were on before us didn't clear off in time. You can't see us in the tv broadcast; at least I didn't see anyone when I watched it on youtube today, bummer.

I'm sad that it's over, but it was seriously an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
