"Some Days You Just Can't Get Rid of a Bomb"

Yesterday was pretty eventful; it was the first time I've left the house to see my friends since break started.
I went to lunch with the girls I danced with up through high school. Well, still dance with, when I'm at home, at least. It's always fun to see those girls; we only started hanging out as a big group recently, like within the past 3 years.
Which actually is really recently considering that I've been dancing with some of them for 16 years.

And then that night I went to my friend's house to watch a movie.
This is the friend from high school that I mentioned before, here, in that second section chunk...I'd give him a little anonymous blog name but I don't want to have to risk never writing about him again, blah blah. Further digression: The other night I got really passive-aggressive and deleted all the 'Sexy Shorty' labels from earlier posts, ha.
Well anyway, it was a nice, platonic evening.
I don't know what he was expecting, and I wasn't expecting anything. We sat on different couches, but that's because there was an awkward TV room change-up when his dad and brother had to leave to let us watch the movie, so there were no arm-arounds or cuddles happening. Then when he dropped me off at my house he was just like, "Well, it was nice seeing ya," and stayed very much on the driver's side.
The whole night we were chatting and enjoying each others' company [or at least I enjoyed his company, who knows what he thinks], which was pretty awesome considering we haven't seen each other in almost 2 years. If I wasn't leaving for the Orange Bowl in 2 days [holy crap] and he wasn't going back to school on the 2nd, I'd totally make more plans with him.

Then tonight I hung out with my Dad, which was alright.
He made us a nice little Italian dinner for 2, which we ate at opposite ends of the dining room table. And he gave me a beer to go with it, which he's been doing since my cousin gave him a 30-rack of his favorite beer for Christmas. The only problem is that my dad's favorite beer is Schaefer, which is pretty awful.
We then proceeded to watch Batman: The Movie [which is where the title of this post comes from] and Comedy Central Presents all night.

Sorry for all the links/ no pictures lately, but pictures still won't work for me here.

And I don't think I'll have anything to post until I get back from FLA, so Happy New Year!
