I'm jumping out of my skin waiting to see my friends who weren't here last semester [especially you, pd!!!!!]
ANOTHER person was assigned to A's old room, and he's in the process of moving in as I write. I over-enthusiastically introduced myself and vehemently welcomed him to the suite.
So, I mentioned that I dyed my hair:
On the left is my natural color -tho it's usually not that frizzy, yeesh- and the right is the new.
I rather like it so far.
In a shocking move, I talked to my Mom and Dad about Roommate and how I don't know how I'm going to deal with living with her this semester...If you don't know the issues between she and I, skim my previous post and you'll get it.
They more or less said that I have to talk with her and if the situation doesn't change the I should get out of the room, which I liked. I was kind of expecting them to be more like 'ohh she was your best friend last year, you should stick it out, it's just a semester'.
I'm pretty glad that it's easy to change rooms around here. It's always nice to have an out.

Good luck with the Roommate situation, those things can be really shitty. I lived with a girl who was a nutjob my sophomore year (I guess it didn't help that I'm a nutjob myself)
Back in college I did the whole "live off campus in an apartment with 5 of your other friends" thing -- which yielded some hilarious and fun moments, but also got to one point where i was so out of patience with one of my friends that I actually moved out of the room I was in and slept on the couch for the rest of the lease.
The rest of the guys in the house called it "The Divorce."
Not. Much. Fun.
Glad you got clear of that mess.
tf: thanks. so far it's been okay, but then again we've only been back together for 3 days.
hex: im not out of it yet. she just hasnt done anything negative or positive enough to make me think that theres a reason to change or finish out the semester in the room. so its still at the 'we'll see' stage
