Still Melancholic but Half-Nekked

Last night I wrote how I woke up at 8pm after spending over 24 hours in bed. I figured I'd just go back to sleep, but things never do work out the way I think they will, do they?
My WASP-y friend IM'd me around 9 because he wanted to stop by and say "Hello" since we hadn't seen each other since before break. He came over and we chatted. He picked up on my blatant melancholy, prodded for details a bit, and I laid out how dour and depressing my life is, how there's no light at the end of the tunnel, etc.
Since that was pretty dispiriting for the both of us, and also since I had missed the last three meals [4 if you count midnight snackies as a meal; which I certainly do] due to lethargy, we ordered wings. Which actually cheered me up considerably.
Brother texted me at about 11:30 to remind me that it was Dad's birthday so I called home and had one of my traditionally awkward phone conversations. I think he asked me about 5 times how 'that dancing stuff' is going, and I probably went 'heh! yeah' over 20 times. Dad, being Dad, had to tell me in detail about what he had done in the past week, up through the sporting event he was in the process of watching with Brother and some of Bro's friends from school. Good stuff.
I haven't been able to go back to sleep since then, so I finished off the last of my Spring Break yogurts and have been twiddling around online for the past 7 hours or so. I also played Tetris on Suitemate's Pottyboy [my name for the Gameboy that she keeps near the toilet], killed a ridiculously enormous spider, and showered.

I think I'm meeting up with TA for lunch today, which should be nice if I don't fall asleep or get too cranky between now and then. I should probably make plans for dinner with my Freshman Buddy, since I stood him up accidentally on Tuesday. I apologized on facebook, but 'I was asleep' comes off as a kind of lame excuse when you're 20 years old.

A note about the blog: I changed the labels on some of my older posts. I took away the 'Big Brother', 'Dad', and 'Roommate' tags since I've come to dislike tags about specific people. I also deleted the 'relationship' tag, as it never really applied, replacing it with 'boys' or 'hook ups'.
I quite dislike how there are more 'bummer' labels than 'awesome', so hopefully things start being more awesome. The weekend is coming up -actually I don't think I have lab on Friday, so the weekend might be tonight- so maybe something good will happen?

Well, the bottom line is I'm still upset about school and dance and things right now. But there's nothing that I can do right now or can think to do in the near future about it, so fuck it, it's stuffed away, I'll deal with it in therapy when I'm 40.

Oh, and I had a dream at some point in the past 24 hours in which I was pregnant with triplets, two boys and a girl. When I was still in the hospital recuperating from having them, my mother somehow gave away the girl and one of the boys for adoption behind my back, and then refused to let me raise the remaining baby on or as my own. I think she still let me name him, but she never let me hold him or play with him, even refused to let me change his little diapers. Dream-JS was pretty devastated about this.
What's up with that, I wonder? Any dream analysts out there?
