Why can't I sleep at normal times anymore?
I know I stayed up all night once last week, but I figured that I'd be so tired I'd go to bed at a normal or even early hour the next night and it would fix itself. Nope. I guess nodding off in class charged me up enough to stay up until 2am.
I've pretty much been adding another awake hour every night since then, so it's now 6am and I'm not tired. Last night I got to sleep around 5am and woke up at almost 4pm. I know if I do sleep today, it'll be at freakin' 9am until 7pm, which is not good.
I think I speak for all of us when I say, "What the fuck?!"
[Point for whoever knows what movie the above line comes from.]
I'm not having any more or less caffeine than usual, I'm not doing anything in particular late at night, I just don't get tired. It's really a bummer. I do like sleeping.
So yeah basically I'm nocturnal and slash or an insomniac. Someone tell me if I develop an alter-ego who in turn develops a fight club. Like in Fight Club, get it?
To fill the long lonely hours I've taken to looking at clothes online and then e-mailing my long-suffering mother links to stuff that I want. Now I'm going to tell you about this in further detail and show you links to the stuff that I want.
Remember that dress from the last post? I found a purple one that I want even more and is much more practical. As for the bra situation, I googled 34DD not really expecting to find anything useful and came across this site. I rejoiced; I never find bras in my size on Victoria's or Frederick's and usually give up after that.
Tonight I found some t-shirts. [Each highlighted word is a different one.] I actually bought one myself because it's rad and it's almost sold out.
It's kind of funny that I'm doing this because just earlier I was talking to online dating guy -who has a blog now, go look. It's kind of lame right now, but I digress- about how I hate shopping and can never buy things if I don't need them. On the other hand, I realized the other day that I wear my green dress far too often, and I do sometimes run out of shirts before getting around to laundry.
Either way I hope I get some stuff. I know my mom would have taken me to at least one mall had I gone home and bought me a bunch of stuff. This is not at all the same thing, but she does say that she likes to buy me clothes; it's her own fault if she's just been lying to me all these years.
But bottom line: Fuck my sleep cycle.

yea, my sleep cycle has been messed up as well. I think it's probably the fact that I sleep later than usual...and that's probably the same reason for you. however, you don't have anything to do, so waking up earlier is pretty pointless. I might try waking up at 11am instead of 4pm if I were you, that might help.
also, I love threadless.com. the shirts there are awesome and I love the ones you picked out. and I like this american apparel dress better than the other one. and for that bra website? so awesome. even at a D, it's so hard to find anything sexy, so for you, a DD? really exciting.
and no, you didn't tell me the other part that you weren't supposed to (this is in reference to ex-roommie). I'm working tonight then going to dinner...I'll IM you when I get back so please update me on that and your exciting friday afternoon/evening. okay I am rambling. later.
I hope you get your sleeping problem straightened out, but let's get back to the real issue: You said you were going to post "half-nekkid" photos.
Only kidding.
I can relate to your problem. My advice is never ever look at the clock.
ta: well if things don't straighten out in the next week or so i'll start taking tylenol pm or something.
and there's a victoria's line called 'glamour' or something and they have SEXY bras in our sizes. i nearly peed myself when i found it.
dr ken: i don't look at the clock, but when the sun comes up i think i can safely assume it's around 6 or 7, given the current season.
