Work today was hellacious. There were 6 people working ice cream: me, the cute short guy [he's my work bff now], the girl who's kind of "slow", two new managers, and a new waiter. In other words, there were 2 people doing work and 4 people getting in the way and asking if you use chocolate ice cream for chocolate milkshakes [The answer is, of course, a mean stare followed by a terse "Yes"]. The general manager came by after what seemed like 10 hours of this nonsense and asked how things were going. No one said anything because they were too busy being morons [short guy was working the take out window at this point] so I went on some rant about how "Everyone's running around doing a million things at once but nothing's getting done because no one knows how to do anything!" so she mercifully took away the two trainee managers.

I was going to go to ballet today, but class was canceled. I was not going to give up and come home after putting tights on, so I went across the block to the yoga joint that's actually located in the exact space that my dance studio was when it first opened. I signed up for unlimited summer classes [$90, but it's $20 to drop in for one] and took "Restorative Yoga" because it was starting soon after I walked in. It should have been more honestly called "Lie on a Mat for an Hour and Think About Relaxing Your Face Yoga." But I admit it was nice to just lie on a mat and think about relaxing my face after a day of trying not to stab people in the eye with sugar cones, so I might go back next week.
