Not much new, but here are some things I was thinking about this week:
-I can't tell if I'm still working on the cold I had or if I'm coughing because I keep inhaling cat hair
-I found a garnet ring that I got as a birthday present at least ten years ago. It has the same silver braiding that is on the bracelet that I never take off so I decided to start wearing it. The only finger it really fits on is my left ring finger but I'm too superstitious to put something there [plus I wear my bracelet on my left wrist and I didn't want to be too unbalanced] so I'm hoping that my right ring finger doesn't somehow get fat.
-Is there caffeine in green tea?

I hope it's not too expensive because I'm obsessed with it.
-I rediscovered Creedence Clearwater Revival last night. I want to know, have you ever seen the rain?

... yup, all the boring ones!
And yes, there is caffeine in green tea (but not as much as in black tea) - there is caffeine free green tea (marked as such) :-)
I'm the same way - I'm too superstitious to wear anything on my left ring finger, especially if it is from a guy (jinx the relationship)! Is garnet your birthstone?
Yay for doing the list! You've done more than I have!
CCR lyrics are very tough to understand.
"Five year plans and new deals
Wrapped in golden chains
And I wonder
Still I wonder
Who'll stop the rain?"
shayna: caffeine is a positive thing!
nikki jo: yup, garnet is my birthstone :)
anon: a lot of bands have strange lyrics that don't make sense but sound nice!
40. I was totally rocking out on the first half, I had like 26 of the first 40 or something.
I picked up some endogeneity, though: #49 is having seen the Sistine Chapel, and #81 is having been to the Vatican. If you've seen the Sistine Chapel, you've been to the Vatican, ergo the Sistine Chapel counts twice. Plus The David, Pisa, and Venice aren't that far from Rome, so if you've been to Italy that's an easy five. Also, If you've been to the top of the Eiffel Tower (50) and/or seen the Mona Lisa (19), then you've been the Paris (12) and let's face it, you're not going to Paris without doing both of those. Two countries, right next to each other, eight items on the list. Meanwhile, the entire continents of Africa and Asia combine for three - visited Africa (44) and the Great Wall (56), and walked in Jerusalem (83). Four if you count Russia as Asia. This is most likely due to self-selection bias.
nerd-out complete.
another david: i noticed that nonsense, too. however, my buddy jb went to france to study abroad and didn't go to the louvre ever because the lines were always too ridiculous. so there.
If you watch a meteor shower, does it get modest and pull the shower curtain ? I've always wondered that...
heff: ha! i have friends who have taken astronomy, i'll ask them and get back to you
