It's kind of late, I need to shower, but I want to tell the world a bunch of inconsequential personal news items while watching my favorite show, so here's a big list of things for yous. The more important bits have a + in front of them.
-I had a fun weekend: running around to different house parties on Friday, chilling with the Vermont crew on Saturday.
+Saturday afternoon I taught a room full of middle and high schoolers dances to "Fame!" and "Shut Up and Let Me Go" completely off the cuff. I'd never taught a dance without having it done and written down first, so I'm pretty much proud of that.
-I've gotten delivery food every night for probably the past 4 or 5 days. Related, I haven't had a normal poo in about 4 or 5 days.
-Two of the Freshmen in my Intro to Soc TA group didn't give me a copy of their paper that was due today [they're supposed to hand in two, one for the prof and one for me]. I emailed them both and neither of them have gotten back to me. Douchebags.
+On Sunday my whole body hurt. It felt like every small injury that I've gotten over the years [left shoulder, mid-back, knees, ankles, wrists, right hamstring, etc] came back to say hello. I was completely miserable for all of dance and am still feeling creakier than usual. Other than the pain, I feel fine, so I don't know what's going on.
-My roommate peeked over my shoulder at my blogger dashboard and might have tried to find this...Yikes.
-My new favorite drink might be rum and root beer.
+I've been jonesing for new music; Any suggestions for songs you like or ones you think I might like would be appreciated.
-Instead of going back to NJ to have a half-hilarious half-awful time, I'm going to my Aunt's house to chill with her, my Uncle, and my two little cousins [ages 7 and 13] for the Thanksgiving break.

I came home from dance to find a package from LipSmacker on my bed! After playing with the packing peanuts [and trying to keep the kitties from eating the same] I dug in and found a bunch of new toys. Thank you so much, LS!

Even after all this time, I'm still trying to decide if I really like Metalocalypse or not. I adore the guitar jokes (natch), but so much of the rest of it is repetitively silly to the point where it gets a little tiresome for me.
When it makes me laugh, I'm falling out -- it's just that in general I feel like I have to sit through a lot to get to those moments.
All that being said, the quote "Fucks thats, I'ms goings" is something I find myself saying almost daily :)

I agree with Hex about Metalocalypse ... and must say of all the weekend plans I have had till now, You seem to have a double of all that ! And which genre(s) of dance are you well versed with ?? Reading some of your other posts had I realized that a dancer has to go through so much pain ! But, the passion never dies, as is what had once happened to me too : I had a live performance coming up with my band in about a week, and We started rehearsing quite early, and the songs we were gonna play were quite hard ones, and I had to wake up all night to perfect them on my guitar ! and when just a day was left before the show, I was down with a bit of sickness, but still somehow managed to give a nice performance the next day !
