Freakin Great.

Oh, man, did I have a day today.

Last night I was working on projects for my 9:30 art class until 3am. I show up to class ready to present a slideshow on an artist as well as show my installed sculpture work. Turns out, the due dates for the projects were changed on one of the days when I was home sick and nobody thought to tell me.

Normally this would not be a problem, but I've been feeling a little peaky and only felt worse the longer I napped. I kept on resetting my alarm for later and later, hitting snooze, and the next thing I knew I had slept through my afternoon class. This class is one that I really enjoy but I've missed it several times already this semester due to one thing or another. I've turned in all of my work for the class, and I think I'm on the right track for my term paper, but I'm just disappointed in myself because I was looking forward to taking this class. Plus, the professor is my faculty adviser and I hate too think that she's probably disappointed in my lack of attendance.

Same situation with capoeira. Granted, classes are a lot less fun this year since the more talented people have graduated or otherwise moved on, but I still like the training. I've been sick, injured, lazy, busy, everything. I've been telling everyone that I'm going to be back today but I have a little fever, headache, and sore throat.
That being said : My roommate has strep, another one might have mono, there's confirmed cases of h1n1 on my campus, so I'm not feeling at all confident that I just have a little cold. Not so good.

I just hope I feel at least okay on Friday because a graduated Dance Group girl is coming back to have dinner with us. She was one of my favorite people on campus and I'll be very upset if I can't see her.

I had a 2PM class that I slept through once. It took me a half hour to get there, and I got up AT 2, so I said F' it. Pathetic.

Hey, you commented on my last blog before I finished it. All I had was the title and accidentally published it. It's done now, and I must say, it's back to my old form. I think this posting every day thing is getting me back in good writing "shape."

Hope you get better! : )

Hope you get to feeling better soon!

maybe take some echinacea,...my friend Tony swears by it.

I had the swine flu a couple weeks ago, so I can totally sympathize.
