I was originally going to write a post and just throw in this little picture at the end:

Then I remembered how much fun I had playing
dress-up in my closet over the summer and decided to go for it with some new clothes. Though I do wonder where that blue jumpsuit is...
Anyways, the first two pictures are jeans that I recently bought at the local thrift store. Two pairs of like-new jeans for UNDER $5 each!

Those are Seven7s [7Seven? I don't know, not important], they retail for $30-$50, and I got them stinkin' new [they had tags on them!] for $4.99! They look a lot bootier in real life, I promise.

That's Old Navy denim, which is pretty cheap, but you'd never find it at the store for $3.99, which is what I paid for those suckers. Oh, here's where I got sidetracked for a few minutes to give my butt a talking-to...moving on. My Mommy has taken to keeping some overflow in my closet, and since she got all exasperated at me and Dad for not cleaning up the kitchen tonight [I eventually did, at like 4am] I didn't feel bad putting her clothes on and pretending to be her for a few minutes. It was short-lived since I can't stand how mom pants go almost up to the boobs!

I had almost had it with that last outfit and was choosing between sparkly plaid capris or khaki pinstripes when I came across these.

What you don't get in the picture is how godawful the texture of these pants is. They feel like the underside of Astroturf. Unpleasant. And they don't even look good on me [narcissist], so I don't know how they could possibly look on a middle-aged mom-lady.

To make myself feel better I put on my new dress and flounced around for a good long while. And I mean, really, it wouldn't be a JerseySjov picture post without the sexy trinity of ass, boob, and lips.

I cannot talk enough about this article of clothing. I own it in blue,
black, and
green. I love it. I Love it. I Love It! Seriously, ladies,
buy this dress!
Now it's time to go to sleep before I get yelled at for being awake at 6 in the morning from my Mom on her way to spin class. It should be me yelling at her for going to spin class at 6 in the damn morning, because that's ridiculous. Actually, she's taking me shopping and maybe out for lunch today, so I don't want to get involved with any yelling this early as to not ruin the rest of the day.
I hope you all have a nice Saturday!

If you want a pair of jeans to make your ass look like it does in the picture where you don't have pants on, treat yourself to a pair of Seven for All Mankind jeans (not the same as the Sevens you got, the ones you have are made by Express). They cost almost $200 but they are so worth it and you could probably get them cheaper on Ebay.
JS, your trinity is worthy, quite worthy. Breezy, entertaining entry. You know, I'm beginning to like you equally in clothes and out of clothes! Keep being generous.
Those mom pants were bad, you should do your mom a favor and secretly destroy items which are particularly old looking. I steal one crappy item of my fathers every time I visit. The fashion gods thank me.
Thanks for letting me know...I didn't realize that.
Seven7s retail for more than $50, I think. They never fit me well. Same goes for Old Navy. As for your mom...uh yeah, those pants are ridiculous. I have forbidden my mother from shopping at Chicos. I hope she abides by it.
Flat or not flat - wow. Would love to see more!
I've got to stop by MORE OFTEN !
I think those pants were robbing YOU. 3 bucks for pants ISN'T a good deal if they steal your butt, which is obviously FINE as shown in pic #4.
I've done some thrift store shopping before, but every time I do I walk out of the place dressed like I'm hispanic. I digress.
medicated: well, i already replied on your blog, but for everyone else's benefit: seven7s are their own brand, not from express!
kilter: haha, generous is my middle name
mnwhr: i was considering it! but i figure if they're in my closet she doesn't wear them that much?
tf: jeans are so weird! i think the most universally well-fitting brand is american eagle
hamachi: thanks!
heff: they looked better in real life; it's really quite hard to take a nice picture of your own butt.
You have a point there.
Excellent pics. Very funny descriptions too!
good show!
Playing dress up is fun for everyone!
