Things I am Nervous About

In order of how nervous I am about them:

1. The election- I don't know if my registration is squared away, never mind that I don't have proof of address for school anyway, and I'd hate to have squandered the opportunity to take part [edit: I went to the votey place and just had to tell them my address and name and they had me on their list! I totally showed them my O(bama) face]
2. Getting into classes that I NEED to get into next semester- I am pretty behind compared to my friends in terms of completing my major/concentration, and small class sizes are freaking me out, not to mention that there are zero classes offered next semester that would work towards my concentration so if I don't get my Soc choices I'm boned
3. My Orientation Coordinator interview- I want to be an OC for next year's Orientation more than basically anything [which is so crazy because I never seek leadership opportunities for myself] and I hope I can convey that, as well as a sense that I'd be successful in the position, to those who are going to be interviewing me for the spot
4. Housing for next year- We should have been looking at apartments for at least a couple weeks now and I'm worried the time's going to slip away without anyone noticing
5. A potential TA position- I would 100% love to be the TA for next semester's Modern Dance course and am just waiting on a reply from the instructor [edit: Got it]
6. Finishing my requirements on time- I was so unsure of what I wanted to do for my first couple years here that I wasted a lot of time and credits, as well as dropping a class last year. 4 classes a semester does not give you a lot of wiggle room
7. This situation with Capoeira Guy- We've hooked up a couple times now and he clearly wants to get to know me better, but how can I know what I want when what I usually want is just a good lay?

It is not a good time to be a stress-eater and a nervous chain-smoker.

I understand the stress of registration time, it's driving folks crazy here as well.

1. hooray for first-time voting!
2. good luck with course registration. if not, you know you can always email the professor and tell them you need to take it for your major. if you make it clear that it's necessary, they're usually pretty accomodating.
3. good luck with the interview!
4. I am getting stressed about housing too, especially since we're all going abroad next spring and won't be able to figure it out later on.
5. being a TA for modern dance would be awesome.
6. you will definitely finish your requirements on time. you can do it, hooray.
7. I want to meet capoeira guy.
