Alternate Title: I Had No Idea it Would be This Quick and Only Take 3 Steps
I'm all moved into my new room!
I have to get an RA to sign me out of the old one and into this one. I'll be lurking around tomorrow to get that done. Then it's off to the housing office to turn in my old key and get my swipe card 24-hour access changed, and I'll be totally set.
The new room [new dorm, too] will take a bit of getting used to. It's a somewhat older building so it has a different feel to it. Nevermind that I'll be at school in a room of my own for the first time. I mean I have Suitemate, but she's all the way across the common room, haha.
Probably the best thing about the new room is that it's on the first floor. This means that only one floor separates me from clean laundry. Now, I probably won't do it nearly as often as my peers, but the distance will no longer be an excuse/deterrent.
And not having to worry about Roommate's whereabouts when I want to get it on is definitely a plus.

Here's to more "getting it on" in the new pad!
I loved it when my roommate moved out. And they didn't charge me for a single, since he's the one who left me high and dry! Excellent...
When I finally had a room to myself, it was the best. Not having to worry about being sexiled and being able to be as loud as I pleased...*sigh* good times ;-)
You can't underestimate being close to the laundry room!
