Les Enfants Surdoues

Whenever I post something really bummed-y I feel like I need to post an update asap to explain how thing really fell into place so all yous don't think I'm a complete maniac. As one of my commenters mentioned on my last entry, I'm not lying in my "About Me" when I say that I have wildly fluctuating emotions!

The WASP definitely got a concussion on Friday, and that was pretty scary, but he seems to be in pretty good spirits now other than getting a little cranky when concerned parties ask him how his head's feeling. As I said when recounting the times we hooked up after ending our experiment with being relationshippy, I only think we're friends with benefits at best now. I respect our friendship enough to not try and push him into something he doesn't want, but I guess I'm not that great of a friend because I don't stop him when he pushes me against a wall to kiss me.
The feelings are water under the proverbial bridge, but I'm not one to give up on an awesome sex partner [see: my entries from a couple years ago about SS].

And of course there's always BrigaFreshman. On Saturday at the official gala afterparty dance he and I were grinding up on each other and making out, but he was hosting a recruit for the swim team so he denied getting any. I was a little peeved at that -honestly, what other 18 year old college guy would turn down what he knows is going to be good sex to hang out with a highschooler!- so when he came over on Sunday to hang I made him watch me write an entire slideshow presentation on Josephine Baker before snuggling. Roomie and a couple pals from the Hip Hop dance group were smoking up in our room, but luckily they got the idea to set up a hookah outside and left Briga [which is actually what most of my friends call him now, haha!] and I to get to gettin' it on.
I had taken a couple hits, which turned out to be good and bad- I came really hard, but then was too lazy to even try to work on him. I've decided that I really enjoy having relations with him because he just takes everything in and doesn't get weirded out when things go slightly awry. IE, I completely fumbled the first condom and had to dig around all sorts of places to find another stash, then he had no idea what was going on when I got my period halfway through the encounter. To be fair, I was also surprised when the second thing happened, but I think I covered it up pretty well: "Umm, I don't know what that stain on my sheets is, either..."

Tomorrow is Spring Day on campus. I can't find a link to another post were I explain it, but I have a mostly new readership [holler back Fave Dave and Shayna :) ] so here goes: Traditionally a lovely Spring day where the president of my fine university would wake up and think "It's a lovely Spring day, I'll cancel classes," it has evolved into a huge affair with free food, concerts, and games all over campus. Of course everyone wakes, bakes, and drinks the day away. It's great fun.
My apartment hasn't stocked up on booze yet, so hopefully the right ingredients for our new favorite cocktail will still be at the lq when JB and I go later today. Our special breakfast muffins are already underway, and I'm fairly certain The Boys will be getting a keg or two, so it won't be a total wash if we can't get what we want.

This doesn't have anything to do with anything, but I swear to god my small deranged cat [different than my tubby fluffles cat] only likes to cuddle when I'm wearing a dark shirt. I look like a freakin used swiffer sheet.

Wow, I need to like start getting alerts whenever you post something. This was the wildest post I have read in a long time and i love it, haha.

Spring Day sounds like a lot of fun. Seems like it would be a good way to relieve some stress.

Thanks for the behind-the-scenes explanation :-) My undergrad did the same thing (different cutesy name) --- Love the "wake and bake" description!

Glad to hear life is looking up (its hard to be down when you have spring in college in front of you) :-)

"Special" breakfast muffins? I'm jealous. And 420 is on a Tuesday, about which I'm thoroughly upset. BUT, Earth Day is a Thursday and I have that Friday off. Should be good :)

Oh the trials and tribulations that happen midcoitus. They make for great stories don't they? They certainly do! =)

Perhaps I can talk the new Culinary Challenge winner in to using Ramen Noodle or something else extremely low cost, lol.

Heff will see what he can do for ya !
