Happy December!

Thanksgiving break was decent. I spent the days sleeping and eating so it wasn't much different than being up here at school. Bro drove me back to school, which was fun. We had to make a stop at the mall so that he could buy a Thanksgiving/I-Missed-You present for his girlfriend, then he and I made some visits to get fed by all of our grandparents.
We had a nice long chat and some good giggles in the car. I do like my Bro a lot and I hope we get to spend more time together over winter break.

Capoeira Guy had called me last Tuesday to ask me out for dinner but I had to take a rain check on it, since I was in the car with Daddy heading home at the time. This meant that I was thinking about him all break. I decided that I basically like him, but that's still not my final call.
He called again on Saturday afternoon to ask when I'd be back in town since he was at his family's house and was bored. Bro and I were just barely over the NJ/NY border so I told him I'd get in touch with him when I was leaving the dinner at Grampa's. I texted him when I left Grampa's to see if he was thinking about being around that night but he had decided to stay another night with his family.
Sunday he called from the road to ask me to dinner again, but I had rehearsal and a lot of work to do so I turned him down. As it turned out, I was the only one who was on campus for rehearsal and I have yet to start any of my work, but I used dinnertime to unpack and shower, so it's not like I was totally blowing him off?

I had a little breakthrough a bit ago and haven't had the chance to write about it yet:
At TA's birthday she and I had a few really quick catching up heart-to-hearts. One of the things mentioned was that, while I'm unsure how I feel about the thing between me and Capoeira Guy, I think I'm finally over the part of my life where I'm satisfied with having casual one-nighters.
Maybe it's the magic of the Oprah list starting early?! Haha.

There are only 2 weeks left in the semester, which is more than a little shocking. The Dance Group show is the weekend after next, so next week we have Hell Week rehearsals every night 6-midnight on top of having final papers and end-of-semester crap to deal with. There's some stressful schoolwork that has to get done sitting in a split in the aisles of the auditorium.
