This weekend was awesome.
Friday night one of the Dance Group girls had a "No Pants Party" at her house, which was incredibly fun. JB and I took over bartender duties for the host about an hour in, so everyone was trashed [she and I make a strong drink], dancing around, and generally enjoying themselves. I admit that I threw JB at the guy that she should be dating at around 2 or 3 in order to fulfill a selfish visit to my OA supervisor's house. However, my OAS [orientation adviser supervisor: a student who is a mentor figure to a group of orientation advisers] got rather grabby and I ended up walking myself home from another OA's dorm at 5 in the morning. Nothing happened in terms of hooking up; I didn't even kiss anyone or anything.
Saturday afternoon some Capoeira people got together to play, but we ended up just dicking around outside.
Tonight the Capoeira Club had a potluck dinner/party. A Freshman girl and I went to the cafeteria and stole a huge salad, breadsticks, and pasta salad to bring for the potluck. I also had my 21+ roommate pick up some vodka for me to bring.
The thing that I most want to discuss is what happened between me and the Capoeira guy that I have a huge crush on:
-At the party he and I spoke one-on-one for a bit about something silly, until someone broke in saying that they recognized his "debate voice"
-He said he was getting fidgety at the party and asked only me if I'd like to go for a walk, which I did
-I took him to my house since it was next door to the party; he may have been rude to my hot lesbian roommate, but he played nice with all of our illegal pets and my roommate and her bf when they emerged from our bedroom
-When we left my house he let me lead him around campus, finally settling down on some uncomfortable benches to talk for almost an hour about all kinds of things
-Throughout the night he kept on touching me for a bit longer than necessary, seemingly incidentally: the small of my back when I was showing off our apt's silly empty bottle collection, my knee or thigh when we were talking on the benches, my arm or shoulder when he was trying to pass me at the party
-We made a lot of good eye contact, but he mentioned that he's a big observer/interpreter of body language, and I wonder what impression I made on him
-At the end of the night he hugged me and dipped me as if we were dancing together. I made fun of the awkward maneuver so he re-did it deeper and more professionally
-He's so fucking hot I can't stand it, plus I realized that he fits a lot of the things on my Oprah wish list
-I wish he had tried to kiss me

I think he didn't try to kiss you for a reason. I think it's probably because he actually likes you and sees you as more than a hot piece of ass (which you are, by the way), and he wants to keep you around and take things slower, so as not to put you off. thoughts?
He seems like he's into you, but just might be a nice guy. If there is a next time you could make the first move, we guys like that.

Aaaw no pants parties! I miss college too, well American college and the American them parties haha.
I agree with TA on the capoeira guy thing, seems like he's into you and wants to respect you and see where things go.
