TMI and a D

Got a D- on my history midterm. Whups. But if I manage to get a B on the final, as well as knock out a decent paper, I should be ok. The professor said something about how if you got a C-D on the midterm but an A-B on the final your progress would be reflected in your final grade for the course. I just need to get a C- or higher for the class to count, so I'm really not too worried.

TMI Tuesday-

1. Have you ever felt guilty or ashamed after a sexual experience?
Yes and no. I don't really think that I get ashamed, and walk of shames are pretty quick on my tiny campus, but there are mornings when I roll over and think "Ughhh, really?"

2. Did you ever own a fake ID?
Nope. I have enough 21 year old friends to do store runs for me, and I don't really have the urge to go to the bar.

3. How often do you tell white lies? Is it with or without thinking?
I don't tell white lies that often. I think the little things aren't worth lying about; I'm kind of known for not sugar-coating my opinions.

4. On a scale of 1-10, how well do you receive constructive criticism?
Haha! 10, unlike the babies in my Public Speaking class.

5. Have you ever shaved your pubic hair?
Yup.

Bonus: What percentage of women do you think are capable of handling being in a "friends with benefits" relationship? How about men?
I think anyone is capable of having a fwb, but it takes a certain level of mental commitment to avoid getting emotionally committed.

A mental commitment to keep you from getting involved? I agree with that entirely.

Maybe it's because the TMI Tuesday questions are normally a little bit more saucy, but I noticed something today that struck me as a little bit odd.

What does the question about how you take constructive criticism have to do with the question about whether or not you shave your pubic hair?

Because it sorta felt like they were setting you up for something, like --

"Do you take criticism well? Good because we need to talk abotu that rainforest you've got going on down there.."

Seriously, who writes these questions?

Hahahahaha. Hex's last comment made me laugh. I agree though - fwb is easy to have but it takes a level of mental commitment to not get emotionally committed. Ironic use of the term "commitment."

Don't slough off too much on your classwork, Jersey. 'D's' should be for bra sizes, not grades.

ms inconspicuous: it's all too easy to catch feelings, isn't it?

tf: it's all about commitment, even when it's not about commitment...
