The title doesn't have anything to do with the post, but Lord of the Rings is on tv and that's one of the best unintentionally hilarious lines in the trilogy.

Thursday night's FAME! cast party was so much fun it's making me think I should really get back into musical theater. There weren't that many people there, but everyone had a face bottle [I was a class act with this] so we were all seeing double. At least two people puked, Tyrone made out with all the female leads, Joe Vegas vandalized the fridge, and everyone looks great in the pictures. Overall, a winning night.

Yesterday afternoon I played outside with Dance Groupers, D, the WASP, Hip Hop boys, and Capoeiristos. It was about 70 degrees out and sunny. Wonderful.
Last night the Dance girls and I got classy dinner together and watched the other dance group's show. Our collective favorite was this tap piece to "Shawty Get Loose" and we were all equally smug when we watched them do a mediocre lyrical thing to the same song we used for corps last Spring. After the show we split up. I went to AP's apartment for a few hours to hang out with the guys, then met up with my future roommate who was smoking at Buddy's suite. I let it slip that I have a huge crush on this Freshman [what is it with me and Freshmen boys?] and it just so happened that one of the guys had his number. I told him not to call, but of course he did; as me and my girl were leaving this Freshman walked in.
We walked all the way across campus before deciding we wanted to go back to Buddy's place. I did a huge rip to catch up with everyone else and we all settled in on their couches. We talked for a while and watched the blank tv screen until we found the remote [it was on the table in front of us] and tuned into the best movie we had ever seen. I'm not sure what it was, but Jean-Claude Van Damme was in it and our high little brains loved it. My girl texted me asking if I wanted her and the only other person still awake to leave but I told her it wasn't necessary as I wasn't about to just hook up with some Freshman, regardless of how cute he is. Besides, he's on the soccer team, and I have beef with most of the the Juniors and Seniors on the team that I don't want spreading to the lower classes.

Once I post this I'm going to hop in the shower to get ready for the house party that I thought was last night but is actually tonight. I have a butt-ton of work to do tomorrow that I could very well have done today, as I had all afternoon/early evening free, but you all know my work ethic. Ah, damn, HL got in there first. Guess I'm just going to have to finish this before I clean up.

I have some good stuff coming up: tomorrow afternoon is the first meeting with the orientation staff; my job at the Dean's office is starting on Monday; and the Dance Group show is next weekend. This will probably be my only post for the week; I hope it was a decent one.
