Not much time, as usual, but just letting everyone know that I currently have a 99 out of 100 possible points in my online teacher certification course and just did a bang-up job on the midterm.
I'm about to go to my favorite store [BJ's Wholesale Club] and buy 5,000 rolls of Charmin UltraStrong, then hang out with my boyfriend all weekend. He got us tickets to a beer festival tomorrow! Some of his friends are going; I hope they don't think I'm a total doofus!
Memorial day weekend was a hoot, my Dad got a big "asshole!" chant for making fun of my favorite cousin's hip surgery scar, I smoked up with my Bro and most of my cousins, and the eM came up to meet everyone. There was a miscalculation with the booze so it wasn't a slopfest like previous years, but a good time was had by all (minus my Dad while his entire extended family was calling him an asshole). Hopefully some of you can see the pictures of facebook!
The eM's family does a big to-do on the 4th of July and I'm invited.
The box spring situation was concluded dramatically during a major lightning/thunderstorm this Wednesday. My Dad drove 4 hours up from New Jersey, wrapped the box spring in a tarp and tied it to the car and manfully crammed the mattress into the back of his Honda CRV, barely cussing at all. My job was to hold the umbrellas he handed me: "This one is for you and hold this one over me." Fonzworth Bentley'ed!
I'd like to share with you the two important Dad lessons I learned during his visit:
1- While driving around with no regard for the gps' or my directions to the restaurant he took me to for dinner, I learned that "Every road eventually leads somewhere"
2- After strapping a 20 year old box spring to the roof of a car during a major weather situation, my Dad looked at me and said "Anything worth doing is worth doing in adverse conditions"
I'm a little early for Father's Day, but godddamn I love my Dad.

Your dad sounds awesome! Mine is too... it's great having someone like that in your life!
Dad sounds quality. Should have passed him the J too.
ang- good dad's are pretty great people
dr ken- he's so quality, but he's very anti-drug. he's paranoid enough without the weed anyway: he warned me to not text him on his PERSONAL cell phone about his visit because he was worried his company would find out that he was taking his work car on a not-entirely-work-based trip
