Lalala, another week goes by.
Hung out with Nice Guy on Sunday. We watched a movie and made out for like an hour. He's chilled out almost to a fault; it's hard to know what's going on with him because he doesn't talk much and I haven't seen him have a strong reaction to anything yet. Next time I hang out with him I'll suggest doing something other than sitting and staring at the tv. We've talked a bit before and he IS a nice guy, but it would be good to see if we compliment each other in ways other than "I'm high-strung and he's laid-back."
I tried to text with the Marine a little bit because I was thinking about something that made us laugh and he told me he was available "just to talk." As I suspected, he's full of it and asked me out to dinner. "Just because I text you about a mustache doesn't mean I'm not still seeing the other guy."
I did pointe for the first time in years yesterday with an acceptable level of success. I only kept them on for barre since the floors in the studio are stupid slippery and they don't have rosin [which is ABSURD], but my feet and legs are NOT killing me today so I'm feeling good about it.
JB, Roomie and I are supposed to get together on Sunday to work on our piece. The show is in a month, so please keep your fingers crossed that we get it done.
Two and a half months until the summer program starts at work! Still no sign of my diploma.
If you were wondering what happened to me finding a gym during February: I did some googling and yelping and apparently every single gym in this area is an overpriced cesspool with sleazy trainers and rapey parking lots. Which is...not what I am looking for. I might do more poking around to find a yoga studio with reasonable drop-in rates that I can walk to when it starts to get nicer out.
I'm going back to campus on Friday night because D is making his first appearance since moving to Brooklyn last summer.
I got my second issue of Food Network Magazine in the mail yesterday. You all need to make this, like, now:
Individual Microwave Chocolate Cake
1/4 cup flour
5 Tbs sugar
2 Tbs cocoa powder
1 egg
3 Tbs vegetable oil
3 Tbs milk
dash of salt
dash of vanilla
-Mix everything in a large mug until smooth
-Microwave for 2-3 minutes, until "puffed"
-Cogito Ergo Nom

LOVE Food Network - yum, share much more with us!!
And, thanks for the tip on Zumba - as someone with NO background in dance, I think it's just what I need :) Hopefully anyhow, we'll see!
Gyms are all over-priced. All of them. I think the cheapest one around me is like $80/month. It really pisses me off.
ang: how did you like zumba?
another david: there's one near me that's $10/month but it's allegedly super-disgusting
